Dryden Varsity Lax opens the season with win

* Dryden 11, Oneonta 10: Dryden's Jordan Zehr and Sean Nostrand each scored a hat trick at Oneonta.

Nostrand tied it with three minutes remaining and Eric Niziol scored the winning goal with about two minutes left when he got the ball in the midfield, broke through the middle and beat the goalie with a low shot.

After winning a faceoff, the Purple Lions ran out the last 88 seconds.

Dryden trailed 4-2 at the half but outscored Oneonta 9-6 in the second half.

The Varsity game on Friday, 03/25, has been postponed so JV will have practice on Friday and will still have practice on Saturday.

Saturday - 8:00 -10:00am at the HS

Practice will be: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the DES at 5:30 - 7:00.

No practice on Friday.
